Outreach

• Mission Trips:  Routine help is provided for the flood and storm ravaged families in Iowa.
  

   
• Missionary Support:  The Kies at Africa University and Mike and Judy Christian in Thailand.
• Two Orphans in Thailand:  During the fourth Sunday of every month, we have "Noisy Sunday".  We take up a special offering for two children (see pictures above).
• Serviceman Support:  We send boxes of encouragement to those serving our country.
• Food Bank Support:  The Lord's Pantry in La Porte City and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo.  Regular and special collections are held to supply the food banks.
• Ingathering:  We make and fill school bags for disadvantage kids in Africa.
• Homeless Shelters:  We work closely with House of Hope for Women in Waterloo and Mission of Hope for Men in Cedar Rapids.  Clothing donations for men, women, and children are always welcome.  Drop them off at the church.
• Crop Walk:  We participate in this annual Fall event. 
• Plus many other events and opportunities throughout the year!
